Rest In Peace Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee

It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee, Father of American Tae Kwon Do. Grandmaster was 86.

I was first introduced to Grandmaster Rhee as a teenager by my Masters. I remember watching in awe as he would give a speech about his Philosophy and the future of Martial Arts. Audiences of thousands would be silent as his presents alone commanded Attention and Respect. Lead By Example was always the point. He asked this from all Martial Artists and Leaders around the World. I am Honored to have shared even just 1 minute with the Founder and Grandmaster of our Martial Art. We are deeply saddened by his passing, but his Legend and Philosophy will live on FOREVER!
